Softbatch Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies
I’ve been wanting to bake cream cheese into cookies for ages.
I finally did. And I’m in love with the results. In my cookbook, I have a recipe for Carrot Cake Cookies with cream cheese baked in, but I’ve never tried it with chocolate chip cookies or as a way to substitute for butter until now.
Crack Pie
The addictive quality, thinking about it when you shouldn’t be, and wondering when you’re going to get it again are likely common themes for both.
I can say definitely that all rings true with regard to crack pie.
PRESERVING FRESH BASIL
My hubby was on Skype with his sister in NY last Saturday night.
I was
being nosey
minding my own business while making sauce & meatballs while they chatted.
Turns out, she was making sauce too.
Imagine that?
Eventually, I heard her explaining how our Aunt Loretta stores her fresh basil in the refrigerator for up to 2 years.
I was shocked!
HOMEMADE GARLIC SPREAD RECIPE
We all have that thing that we are addicted to when it come to our diet. For some people it is French Fries, cakes, cookies, pie, burgers, bread, or, in my case, all of the above. For the most part, I can step away from just about anything except bread. Especially warm bread with butter. Not sandwich bread, but freshly baked bread and butter is my weakness. Especially if there is a good soup or something to dip it into. I am in heaven. Oh! I also love having some good bread with any Italian dish because I like to run the bread behind the sauce. Man o man, that is a good time. I can sense that you might feel the same way I do. Therefore, I have done you a favor.
Lunch lady brownies
I’ve been on a brownie kick lately. I don’t know what’s come over me. 😉 Maybe it’s the stress of selling our house (which we finally sold. Yay!).. and probably the stress of building the new one soon
Strawberry Cream Cheese Icebox Cake
